631. The first thing you need to do before you go fishing is make sure you have a fly fishing rod which is just a regular fishing rod but longer and more flexable.
2. Then, you go to a river that is stocked or naturally has salmon in it and find a fishing spot.
3. Next, you cast your line a little bit upstream so it will flow down river and the salmon will see it and bite it(note: it will take a while before you hook a fish).
4. Finally, when you hook a salmon it will put up a fight so you have to hold the rod high enough so the end starts bending then you keep doing that until you feel it stop, then you reel the fish until it starts fighting then you pull up on the rod until it stops then reel again and so on until it reaches shore.
That's how you catch a salmon.

You should really try to add detail to your post next time.
This post is really bad, it gives extremely basic instructions.
If I was trying to follow these instructions and I was just learning how to fish, I would just die from being so embarrassed from not even knowing what to do.
